Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge

  • Dishwasher
    • Performs a variety of entry-level dishwashing tasks.

    • Routinely cleans, washes and stores food and beverage service items, equipment, and the kitchen area.

    • May also monitor/clean the team dining room and set up and break down team dinning buffet lines.

    • Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned. 

    • Work in designated station set by the Location Chef / Sous Chef.

    • You may work in guest restaurants or Employee Dining Room as needed and as assigned. 

    • Keeps all kitchen areas, equipment, machines, etc. clean, sanitized and organized during individual shift.

    • Assist all cooks and chefs as necessary.

    • Assist in daily cleaning and sanitation duties.

    • Maintain clean and safe work area. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen and dining room materials.

    • Follow all machine cleaning procedures.

    • Assist all cooks in daily preparation of menu items.

    • Report to work at designated time in clean, neat and approved uniform.

    • May periodically train new employees or staff from other departments. 

    • Complies with all health and safety codes in handling and storage of all food products and kitchen equipment. 

 

  • HOST
    • Greet the dining room guests and seat them in an expedient fashion while maintaining a proper seating flow in the seating sections.

    • Greet the guests as they approach the podium and make them feel welcome to the dining room.

    • Seat the guest(s) as quickly as possible or if table is not immediately available accurately informing the guest(s) of how long the wait period will be.

    • Enter guest name and number in party on the wait list and give guest an accurate time of the wait period.

    • For those dining rooms that utilize a reservations system, check guests in and informs them as to the length of time before they will be seated.

    • Keep the seating chart current and seat guests in a proper flow in the sections so as to not over seat any sections.

    • Keep menus clean and presentable and discard any menus that are too worn or tattered

    • Report any guest complaints and/or issues immediately to the Service Manager or Unit Manager. Respond to such in a professional, sincere manner.

    • Complete opening and closing side duties according to dining room standards.

    • Maintain seating log to ensure accurate cover count for the seating period.

    • Assist Bussers as needed to clear and set tables.

    • Handling sales in an accurate manner which will include: maintaining a daily bank, entering sales in a cash register, taking money, counting out correct change (coins/bills), giving change (coins/bills) to guests, and completing credit card transactions.

 

 

  • Room attendant
    • Ensures highest quality standards of Housekeeping are maintained for our guests and the Company.

    • Responsible for daily guest room and public area cleaning with attention to detail and giving your personal best in service.

    • Cleans rooms and bathrooms in assigned workstation performing any combination of the following tasks and duties: strips and remakes beds, roll-away and cribs; sweeps and mops floors, vacuums carpets, dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, cleans windowsills and porches, brushes curtains, draperies and upholstered furniture; empties and cleans wastebaskets and relines with plastic liner; cleans ashtrays and plastic ice buckets; replenishes towels, bathmats, wash cloths, soap, and amenity and dresser supplies; cleans shower, bathtub, shower curtain and toilet; and restocks tissue.

    • May wash walls, woodwork and windows.

    • May assist housepersons/porters in sorting, counting, folding and carrying of linen and supplies by hand or housekeeping cart.

    • May replace light bulbs. Leaves matches, advertising matter, glasses, stationery, etc. according to policy.

    • Checks room and bathroom thoroughly for working lamps, heater, leaking faucets, broken furniture, running toilet or other missing or damaged articles.

    • Makes minor repairs when possible and reports all other findings immediately to Housekeeping Manager.

    • On completion of room, telephones Housekeeping Manager/Office to report room is ready for occupancy.

 
 

 

  • BUSSER
    • Cooking or preparing food items according to procedures or recipes

    • Placing food items on serving plates or dishes along with required condiments and utensils to present to customers.

    • Preparing cold drinks, warm drinks, and other non-alcoholic beverages.

    • Some employees will serve alcoholic beverages and must strictly follow all state and federal laws related to serving alcohol.

    • All items must be prepared quickly and accurately ensuring no waste and in accordance with production and portion requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.

    • Food and Beverage employees may be responsible for handling sales which will include: taking correct orders, entering sales in a cash register, taking money, counting out correct change (coins/bills), giving change (coins/bills) to customers, and completing credit card transactions.

    • All Food and Beverage employees will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning all Food Service areas including preparation tables, equipment, dishes, floors, supply areas, refrigerators, coolers, sales areas, and customer areas (tables, chairs, serving lines, condiment stands, etc.).

    • Demonstrate a high level of customer service. Respond to and take appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints of guests.

    • Keep supervisor/manager informed of situations relating to facility operation, patron complaints or concerns, accidents, emergency

 

 

Mt McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge

  • Room attendant
